Signs of late summer are everywhere. Besides all the back to school preparations, the late summer flowers are taking over the garden. My cosmos are starting to bloom and cicadas are buzzing up in the trees. The days are getting shorter and the temps are cooling down a bit.
Soon, college will be back in session too. Its a lovely time of year.

It's my favorite time of the year, too. School will be starting soon and it's not as worrying to me about backing over a child as he/she darts down the sidewalk. It's cooler at night and don't have to run the a/c; the best time of the year when my utilities are lowest. Best of all, football is starting!
